The Acoustics of Bulgaria

Today at the prehistoric salt-production and urban center Provadia-Solnitsata, we had the pleasure of hosting Stefan Valdobrev and The Usual Suspects. They launched their new project, “Acoustica”, here by filming a music video for its first song among the preserved remains of the prehistoric stone fortification systems. The musicians took advantage of the acoustic properties of a V-shaped radial structure dating from the end of the Chalcolithic period (around 4450 BC), as well as those of a massive fortress wall from the beginning of the Late Chalcolithic (around 4600 BC).
The archaeological team of Provadia–Solnitsata wishes great success to Stefan Valdobrev and The Usual Suspects in their new project!
