His fieldwork includes a wide range of archaeological sites, most of which date to the Late Prehistory. A significant portion of his experience is related to large-scale rescue excavations along the routes of major infrastructure projects, including the sites near Kapitan Andreevo, Mursalevo, Hadzhi Dimitrovo, and Drenov. He has also participated in regular excavations of major prehistoric settlements such as those near Sushina, Lovets, Djulyunitsa, and Slatina-Sofia.
Since 2017, he has been a member of the team excavating the earliest salt-production and urban center in Europe – Provadia-Solnitsata. He has a particular interest in domestic architecture, building techniques, and settlement organization. Within the complex, he primarily investigates burnt-down structures. He is actively involved in the digitization of uncovered materials and the production of graphic documentation, as well as in various activities related to the promotion of Provadia-Solnitsata.
