Visit the Prehistoric complex Provadia-Solnitsata!
Provadia-Solnitsata is a prehistoric complex currently undergoing active archaeological research!
In recent years, alongside excavations, major efforts have been made for the conservation, restoration, and public presentation of this unique prehistoric site.
Although archaeological work is ongoing, the prehistoric salt-production and urban center of Provadia-Solnitsata is open to visitors for most of the year, depending on suitable weather conditions for visiting an open-air excavation site. We are also working to improve local infrastructure to ensure access even during partially unfavorable terrain conditions.
