September 20st (Saturday)
11:00 at the site
Information about the “European Heritage Days”. An introduction to the importance of Provadia–Solnitsata as a center of cultural tourism and regional development in the context of European prehistoric heritage.
09.00 – 14:00 at the site
A tour around Solnitsata - showing some of the most interesting places and stories of the ancient and urban center.
All day at the site
For kids: „Letter to the Future“ – all day, children will have the chance to write letter on the topic of “What I want children from 2050 to know about Solnitsata”. All the letters will be sealed and saved until the end of the archaeological season. After that we will publish them on Facebook and our website.
Photo Gallery: „Let’s Fortify our World: Prehistoric defense systems“. Focusing on the defensive architecture of Chalcolithic settlements in southeastern Bulgaria.

A visit to the History Museum of Provadia with a focus on the Solnitsata exhibition
16:00 at the Lambova House
Lecture: “Time, Salt, and Memory – One European Story That Began at Provadia”. A tale about the role of salt as a sociocultural factor from prehistory to today.
16:40 at the Lambova House
Discussion: “Provadia-Solnitsata- the past comes alive, the future is built”. History, roots, and cultural tourism in the heart of Northeastern Bulgaria.
Septebmer 21st (Sunday)
09.00 – 14:00 at the site
A tour around Solnitsata - showing some of the most interesting places and stories of the ancient and urban center.
All day at the site
For kids: „Letter to the Future“ - a continuation of the artistic initiative with a message from kids to the future.

A visit to the History Museum of Provadia with a focus on the Solnitsata exhibition
16:40 at the Lambova House
A discussion on the topic: “Salty Tales” - local memory as a part of cultural heritage – A conversation with the residents of Provadia and the surrounding villages, focusing on their personal memories and family stories related to the region (we invite people who remember old tales or have heard them from their grandparents). We will also collect old photographs from the area. The event offers a look at the significance of Solnitsata as part of our shared European heritage.
